The Royal Cougars is one of the seven State Premier League netball clubs which play in the paramount netball competition in South Australia. The Premier League and Premier League Reserves teams play at the Netball SA's stadium at Mile End. (map).

The Club also fields 20-25 teams in the other major winter and summer netball competitions, which are also run at Mile End, but on the 26 outdoor and the 4 indoor courts. Approximately 200-250 Cougars' players are involved, with ages from eight years old to adults.
